On 25th June 2017, we held the first ever Arms Fair on a London Racecourse.
We were hoping to attract one or two hundred visitors, but to our amazement nearly 600 people passed through the turnstile in the first half an hour. Most of these continually returned to their vehicles with smiling faces and purchases over their shoulder.
The Gun, Antique Flintlock, Percussion weapons, Sword and Militaria Traders supported us by hiring 120 tables between them, displaying anything from cap badges to cannons.
The venue itself, and its position, is a major asset as so many facilities are already in place, such as hotels, catering, ATM machines, security, free parking and a railway station.
Stall prices for the Trade are some of the lowest in the country and the £5 Public Entrance Fee compares well for the place and the event, along with the 9.30am to 3.30pm opening hours.
