Alzheimer’s Society’s Memory Walk

Alzheimer’s Society’s Memory Walk is back at Aintree Racecourse this autumn. Sign up and walk all over dementia today.

Join your fellow walkers in the centre of the racecourse, where the event will start and finish. Take in the atmosphere, and get ready to walk alongside hundreds of others, raising funds to defeat dementia. Take a moment to reflect on who you are walking for by leaving a message on the Memory Tree, and see it blossom throughout the morning.

There are two Memory Walk routes – you choose which to walk on the day of the event. Please note all routes and distances are subject to change, and suitable footwear is recommended.

The shorter 2km walk is a gentle stroll around around the home of the Grand National which is suitable for Memory Walkers of all ages. The longer 7km route is a little more challenging and allows you to see all parts of the historic racecourse. Both routes are suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs with assistance. Food and drink will be available to buy on the evening.
