What are the nearest transport links?

Visitors can travel to the racecourse by bus using the following services. The 620 (St Helens to Hindley Green via Ashton and Haydock) and the 320 (St Helens to Wigan via Ashton and Haydock). For journey times please call 0871 200 2233 or go to arrivabus.co.uk. A ‘Peoplesbus’ Bus Service (the 520) will be running from Liverpool City Centre to Haydock Park on certain racedays in 2014 (check fixture list details for further information). The nearest train station to Haydock Park Racecourse is Newton-le-Willows, available on trains running from Manchester Piccadilly, Victoria and Oxford Road to Liverpool Lime Street. On the main London to Glagow line the nearest stations are Warrington Bank Quay and Wigan North Western which are both approximately 8 miles from the racecourse. How do I get to Haydock Park by Car?

Haydock Park is located just one mile from junction 23 of the M6. Racegoers with reserved car park passes and coach parties should enter the course from the A49. The main car park is accessed from the A580 East. For Sat Nav users, please enter the postcode WA12 0HQ or co-ordinates 53.48067/2.6283.

Where can I stay?

Are there conference facilities available at the racecourse?

Haydock Park Racecourse offers a choice of 7 conference and meeting suites and no fewer than 39 adaptable boxes across three grandstands, accommodating anything from a private meeting for five delegates to a multi-day conference for 500 attendees.

Can private tours of the racecourse be arranged?

Yes we can offer this to groups of delegates at an additional cost, please contact a member of the events team for more information.

What is the cancellation policy for confirmed events?

The deposit is retained in full in the event of cancellation for any reason. If cancelled more than 60 days before the event a 25% charge of the total booking will apply. If cancelled less than 60 days before the event a 50% charge of the total booking will apply. If cancelled less than 14 days before the event a 100% charge of the total booking will apply.

Can we bring in our own caterers?

No, we provide the catering service.

Can we provide our own alcohol?

Yes but a corkage fee will apply.

Can we use our own photographer, musician or entertainment?

Yes, but we will require certain documentation from them before they arrive onsite.

Can we deliver or set up the day before an event?

Prior arrangement only and it may be at an additional cost, please contact the events team for further information.

Can we arrange to leave items in the venue overnight?

Yes, as long as it is arranged with a member of the events team before leaving site and you are aware it is at your own risk.

Can we smoke inside the venue?

No smoking is permitted indoors but we have designated smoking areas around the grounds.

Is there any parking at the racecourse?

We offer complimentary parking for up to 3000 cars.

Is there disabled access?

Haydock Park Racecourse is committed to making the course grounds available to as many people as possible meeting the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act and makes every effort to ensure its communications and facilities are accessible to those with special needs, including those with visual, hearing, cognitive and motor impairments.

Do you have outside space that we can use?

Haydock Park offers 127 acres of parkland including 13 acres of hard standing space for major events.

Can we hire space for a photoshoot or filming?

Yes, please contact a member of the events team for more information.

How late can events run and can they be extended?

If a bar is required then we can remain open until 12.30am and we do offer an extension until 1.30am at an additional charge.
