June is set to be an exciting month here at Cheltenham Racecourse, with our specially designed “A Taste of Royal” event in the Panoramic Restaurant. The breath taking views across the racecourse, means that this is a prime venue for celebratory events such as birthdays, engagements and Christmas parties.
Tickets are available here, and there are fantastic prizes available to win for best dressed. In conjunction with the PA Forum and Ellenborough Park Hotel, we have 30 places up for grabs for the PA Forum members prize draw, to include an overnight stay.
We have FAM (in event speak, this is short for Familiarisation) trips coming up over the next few months, working with our hotel partners including Cheltenham Chase, Queens Hotel, The Lygon Arms and of course Ellenborough Park Hotel.
My adventures continue with trips to Portsmouth and Southampton, I have been so impressed by the standard of the events that the agents I visited deliver. Cheltenham is the ideal venue for both indoor and outdoor events, and Becky’s most recent blog is a great example of this.
I am very excited about the Cheltenham Science Festival which is on this week. Another great Festival hosted in Cheltenham, following hot on the heels of the recent Cheltenham Jazz Festival. Cheltenham has truly become a town for unique and wonderful festivals from The Festival presented by Magners held at the racecourse in March to Cheltenham Musical Festival at the end of July.
The Cheltenham Science Festival has some innovative local IT companies in the GCHQ Cyberzone, where you can see what it’s like to be a code cracker, ethical hacker and cyber security expert. Throughout the Cheltenham Science Festival, there will be discussions going on about everything, including The Productivity Puzzle and why since 2010, the productivity of the UK economy has flat-lined, lagging behind our main trading partners.
Cheltenham is a hub of Festivals and innovation, why not take a look at Cheltenham Racecourse for your next conference, product launch or event so you too can be part of the future.
