Cheltenham Racecourse aimed to make this year the year of music as it played host to a number of events.
A range of high profile acts across different genres were booked throughout the year and included the likes of the Dire Straits Experience and Jools Holland.
The venue also welcomed the Kaiser Chiefs, Jessie J and The Vamps, as part of PDSA PetLife 18 Festival.
In June The Wychwood Festival returned to Cheltenham Racecourse for the 14th year running.
Not only that, comedians and TV funny men, Joel Dommett and Dara O’Brian, also took to the stage at the venue and the Spectre Cheltenham Masters Darts Tournament returned to score a bullseye with fans.
The racecourse has also scored some fantastic recognition in awards schemes including being shortlisted in the prestigious National Venue Awards in the Best Sporting Venue for Events category.
The racecourse was named Sporting Venue of the Year in the SoGlos Gloucestershire Lifestyle Awards 2018, as well as being Highly Commended in the Live Entertainment Venue of the Year category.
It also scored a Bronze Award in the Best Awards event category of the Conference Awards for the very first year of the McCoys South West Jump Awards.
Adding to the success The Festival™, Cheltenham Racecourse Marketing Campaign won Marketing Campaign Of The Year in the Gloucestershire Business Awards 2018 and Carey Weeks, Regional Head of Partnerships – South West at Cheltenham, was shortlisted in the Young Business Person Of The Year category.
Not only that, the Marketing Team was also shortlisted in The Institute of Sales Management BESMA Awards – Sales Team of the Year, Under 50 People category.
Just a small overview of everything that has been taking place, but a very positive year all round.
