Cheltenham Racecourse has been announced as a finalist in two categories of the Gloucestershire Business Awards 2018.
Carey Weeks, Regional Head of Partnerships – South West at Cheltenham, has been shortlisted in the Young Business Person Of The Year category.
The Festival™ marketing campaign for 2018 has been shortlisted in Marketing Campaign Of The Year.
Not only that, the Marketing Team have been shortlisted in The Institute of Sales Management BESMA Awards – Sales Team of the Year, Under 50 People category.
These nominations come hot on the heels of the venue scooping the top prize in the Sporting Venue of the Year in the SoGlos Gloucestershire Lifestyle Awards 2018, as well as being Highly Commended in the Live Entertainment Venue of the Year category.
Following on from that success, it also gained a bronze in the Best Awards Event in the Conference Awards in London for their very own McCoys South West Jump Awards, which started last year.
Matthew Foxton-Duffey from Cheltenham Racecourse, said: “We are extremely pleased to have been shortlisted in this awards and are thankful to be in such great company with the other finalists.
“We are very much looking forward to the ceremony, which is being hosted in The Centaur at the racecourse and we wish everyone the very best of luck.”
Voting is open for the 2019 M&IT Awards and Cheltenham Racecourse is calling on clients to make their voices heard.
There are a number of different categories and votes must be cast by December 5, 2018 to be recognised.
It doesn’t take long to cast your vote and we think we would be perfect for the Best UK Conference Centre and Best UK Unusual Venue categories – www.mitawards.co.uk/
