It has been extremely busy here over the last few weeks, but we have had some great events going on and using our facilities to the maximum.
More than 60 employers turned out for the National Apprenticeship Show and we really enjoyed hosting the event. Providers showcased opportunities to thousands of visitors in a lively, interactive, fun and informative setting.
The Gloucestershire Wedding Show – was here and we enjoyed looking around the stalls to keep abreast of all the latest developments in the wedding world.
The flowers were out of this world and for the first time ever they had a barbers shop in the hall of fame demonstrating on grooms to be.
So many of the office crew were very happy that activewear retailer Sweaty Betty brought one of their sales here – there were some amazing bargains to be had.
The Gloucestershire Business Awards is one of the highlights – some 600 guests enjoyed fine dining and finding out more about local businesses.
We were thrilled when our very own marketing team won an award for The Festival!
October has seen a lot of our regular clients return for annual events – it always is fantastic when clients return year on year – it must show we are doing something right as a venue.
Christmas Shopping began in earnest at the Christmas Fashion and Gift Fair. This four-day event showcases a whole host of products.
We then moved onto racing for two days. In my next blog I will give you an idea of the crazy turnarounds we do here sometimes – in November we went from events into racing into events.
We have great army of people who help make the events happen and we often work overnight to get everything ready for the clients.
In November, we hosted The Cheltenham Round Table Fireworks Display and have done for more than 10 years.
It is widely recognised as one of the largest and safest firework displays in the South West region, attracting some 10,000 people every year.
All money raised goes to local charities and good causes and we are delighted to be part of it.
Being in the equestrian world we were pleased to host the Horse & Hound Awards 2018. This year saw the third occasion of the awards and it was bigger and better than ever.
The awards honoured the heroes of 2018 in a glittering, star-studded ceremony attended by more than 250 people.
We then had more Christmas shopping opportunities with the Weird Fish Clothing Sale.
